What is the student:teacher ratio?Our classes average around a 8:1 ratio and are normally capped between 12-15 students.

Is the school accredited?We are licensed by the Cayman Islands Government.

Where do graduating students continue their education?You will find our graduates at both the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) and the International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI), as well as colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Please see the High School page for more information.

Is transportation available?At this time, we do not have transportation options.

What is the uniform for Hope Academy?Our uniform incudes any solid color polo shirt and chino style pants, shorts or skorts. Bottoms can be khaki, navy, black or gray. Shoes should be athletic or closed toe. For more information, please see the school handbook.

Where can I purchase my child’s uniform?Polo shirts and bottoms can be purchased anywhere on island or overseas. Island Embroidery has uniforms available or will add the logo to polo shirts purchased elsewhere for CI$10 per shirt.

Is a lunch program available?Yes, our hot lunch program is provided by Yum School Lunch.

Where is the school located?We are centrally located on Grand Cayman in the Grand Harbour Plaza in Red Bay. Students are dropped off and picked up using the parking lot in the back near the skate park.

What are the hours of operation?We are open Monday-Friday. - Office Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm -School Day: 8:00am to 2:30pm

Where do students play at recess?Students have access to the Black Pearl Skate Park, which is one of the largest outdoor skate parks in the world! Students can use their own scooters and helmets, or participate in other activities, such as basketball. Students also use the play structure behind Salty’s Restaurant.
